Winter Pickleball Information

Daily Winter Schedule

Indoor play takes place at Red Sandstone Elementary School in Vail during the winter months, typically November-May, weather depending.

Court Reservations

Reserve your court at the link on the right of this page.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays

  • Session 1: 5:45-7:15 p.m.
  • Session 2: 7:15-8:45 p.m.
  • Session 3: 8:45-10:15 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down for Sessions 1 & 3
Foursomes may only play one session

Saturdays

  • 2-7 p.m. - players can reserve up to two hours at a time.

Court reservations must be made in advance at the link on the right. Reservations may be made up to one week in advance. Cost to reserve a court for non-passholders is $28 for VRD residents, $40 for non-residents.

Open Play

Sundays

  • 2-7 p.m., no reservations required. Cost for non-passholders is $10 for VRD residents, $20 for non-residents.

When people are waiting to play, please take turns after your game to 11 points is complete.

Code of Conduct & Etiquette Guidelines

The Vail Recreation District has adopted a set of Code of Conduct and Etiquette & Safety Guidelines for pickleball. All seasonal and annual pass holders will be expected to agree to and respect these standards. The guidelines will also be posted at the courts so non-passholders can also be aware of expectations. Thank you for embracing these guidelines that are intended to foster an inclusive, kind and welcoming environment for all who visit our courts.
