Vail Golf Club Golf Shop is currently open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Nine (9) hole walking loop, practice facilities and driving range are currently open for the season. 

From May 1–31, the course will undergo a full cart path renovation, with a rotating nine-hole layout available daily; 18-hole players will play the same nine twice.

• Opening phases include walking-only play beginning April 24, cart path-only play starting May 1 and standard nine-hole play without cart restrictions anticipated by May 8, weather permitting.

See below for all renovations to be completed during the early season:

• Hole #5: Ground under repair for resodding (left of green), reopening early June.
• Hole #6: Bathroom renovation (temporary facilities available through summer; full completion winter 2026). Play from forward tees until early June.
• Hole #7: Lower/Forward tees in use during upper tee renovation (early June completion).
• Hole #17: Temporary tee box in use for tee box renovation project (mid-June completion).
• Full Cart Path Renovation: Nine holes remain open throughout, with full completion anticipated in late May.

Vail Golf Club Policies

• Greens aeration will occur on Monday, Sept. 21 and Tuesday, Sept. 22.
• The Vail Golf Club DOES NOT allow fivesomes. 
• Children MUST be at least 6 years old to be on the golf course; no children under 6 are permitted including babies and toddlers.
• Vail Golf Club DOES NOT allow pets on the golf course or driving range.
• All single players choosing to take a golf cart WILL be paired with other available seats.  The Vail Golf Club charges players per seat ($26 per seat - 18 holes, $18 per seat - 9 holes) 

Online Booking Policies 

• Tee times 1 — 14 days out: book online (prepayment required) or in the Pro Shop (no prepayment required, credit card held on file)
• Tee times 15+ days out: book online only, up to 60 days in advance (prepaid).
• All guest tee times booked online are fully refundable if modified or canceled 24+ hours in advance, including the $20 refundable advanced reservation fee (applies to bookings made more than 14 days out).
• Guest tee times booked through the Pro Shop more than 14 days out incur a non-refundable $20 fee per player. In the second bullet point we say that they must book online only after 14 days out? The purpose of this is to incentivize players to book online as oppose to calling the golf shop thus non refundable through the golf shop but refundable online.
• Vail residents may book 14 days in advance for resident rates (valid peak/fall season: June 19–Oct. 11).
• Single bookings allowed only if a spot is available within an existing tee time.
• Maximum of four tee times per booking.

Spectator Policies

• One additional golf cart is allowed for specators ($20 per person) per foursome.  
• Children MUST be at least 6 years old to be on the golf course; no children under 6 are permitted including babies and toddlers.

Season Pass and Punch Card Booking Policies 

• Platinum Season Pass - Tee times may be booked 14 days at any time during the day.
• Gold Season Pass and Punch Card - Tee times may be booked 10 days in advance at any time during the day. 
• Silver Season Pass and Punch Card - Tee times may be booked 7 days in advance at any time (Monday - Thursday).  On Friday, Saturday, Sundays, and Holidays tee times may only be booked after 12 p.m.  
  • These booking policies are also active for the Young Adult Pass.
• Bronze Season Pass - Tee times may be booked 3 days in advance after 2 p.m.
