The Dynafit Boneyard Boogie kicks off the 2024 Vail Trail Running Series with a 16K scamper through pinyon groves and juniper shrubs on some of Eagle's most scenic single track trails, with an elevation gain of 1,279 feet, reaching a maximum elevation of 7,718 feet. Both races will start and end at the Eagle Pool and Ice Rink, with the 14K starting at 9:00 A.M. and the 6K starting at 9:15 A.M.
The Dynafit Trail Running Series is a papercup-less race series. Please keep this in mind when preparing for the race. We highly encourage you to bring your own hydration device or reusable cups.
5K: 372' of elevation gain, reaching a maximum elevation of 6,950'
13K: 1,291 feet of elevation gain, reaching a maximum elevation of 7,718 feet.
Water and Skratch will be available at two aid stations in the 13K at mile markers 3 and 4.5. There is no aid station for the 5K. The Dynafit Trail Running Series is cupless. Bring your own hydration device.
Racers can pick up their race numbers on Friday, May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Peak Performance Footwear in the Riverwalk 137 Main Street Edwards, CO
Individual Rates, 13K: $38 preregistration, $45 week-of registration, $55 day-of registration
Individual Rates, 5K: $30 preregistration, $36 week-of registration, $45 day-of registration
Racer parking will be available in the dirt lot adjacent to the Eagle Pool and Ice Rink.
Awards will be presented at the race finish.
13K Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three males and females in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
5K Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three males and females in the following age groups: Juniors 19 and under, Open 20-39, Masters 40-59, 60 and over
In an effort to ensure a variety of participants can enjoy and benefit from our partnership with Dynafit, participants that routinely podium will receive no more than two of the same 1st place prize.
All racers will receive a custom designed t-shirt (either cotton or tech material) at the race finish, and all racers are entered into a raffle for great prizes from our sponsors!
