Tumblin' Turkey Camp

Bring your kids for a day of fun at the Vail Gymnastics Center on Monday, November 21!

Kids will enjoy gymnastics activities, gymnastic-related games, unique crafts and snack time.


Cocktails & Canvas: Wood Ornament Painting

Cocktails & Canvas is back! The popular workshop series returns to the VRD Community Programming Room (located on the second floor of the Lionshead Welcome Center) on Thursday, November 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Painters will be guided by an instructor to create eye-catching wood ornament designs, perfect for decorations or gifts. The $15 fee includes all materials, instruction and light appetizers. A cash bar is available to those 21 and up.

Trick or Treat Trot

Get ready for Halloween fun! The Vail Recreation District will host the 24th Annual Trick or Treat Trot on Monday, October 31, 2016. The Trick or Treat Trot is a great opportunity for young kids (infants up to 10-year-olds, plus their families) to trick-or-treat through the streets of Vail from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Fall Nature Hikes

Walking Mountains Science Center and the Vail Recreation District had so much fun exploring with guests at the Vail Nature Center this summer, they decided to extend their Backcountry Hiking Program through October.
