Businesses, Bogeys & Bragging Rights

The Vail Recreation District and Vail Chamber & Business Association will host the third annual Businesses, Bogeys and Bragging Rights Community Golf Tournament on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Vail Golf Club to benefit the VRD's Tom Slaughter Jr. Memorial Youth Recreation Grant. Teams, sponsors and silent auction donations are being sought - don't miss out on the best event of the season!

Middle School Cross Country Program

Registration is now underway for the Vail Recreation District's middle school cross country program for youth runners in grades fifth through eighth. In its third year, students are invited to participate in the program to learn about running preparation, technique, and provide a fun social team environment while preparing for high school cross country.

Cocktails & Canvas: Wine Glass Etching

The Vail Recreation District is offering a cocktails and canvas workshop sponsored by the Vail Public Library and Alpine Arts Center on Thursday, July 14 at the Vail Recreation District Community Programming Room located on the second floor of the Lionshead parking structure. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., participants ages 16 and up can etch fun designs into two wine glasses provided by the Vail Rec District.
