From summer camps to after school programs, adult fitness classes to open gyms, the Vail Recreation District is your one-stop shop for affordable, family-friendly fun in Eagle County.
Registration is now underway for the Vail Recreation District's middle school cross country program for youth runners in grades fifth through eighth. In its fourth year, students are invited to participate in the program to learn about running preparation, technique, and provide a fun social team environment while preparing for high school cross country.
Each August the Vail Tennis Center hosts the annual Vail's Mountain Haus Bill Wright Clay Court Tennis Championships. The tournament is a U.S. Tennis Association sanctioned event and draws players from across the region for three days of competition. Divisions include men's and women's open, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, singles, doubles and mixed. Players must be a USTA member to compete.
Registration is open for the KEEN Family Mud Run on August 12. VRD is also looking for volunteers to help with the Vail Kids Adventure Games!
