2014 PROGRAM FEES REVIEW
The Vail Recreation District Board of Directors will discuss the district’s 2014 proposed programming fees at its Dec. 12 regularly scheduled board meeting. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambes. Proposed programming fees are available for review: Proposed Rates Packet.
JEWERLY MAKING, POTTERY, PAINTING, DATE NIGHTS | DETAILS
Arts and crafts classes for children, adults and families will return this winter in the Community Programming Room in Lionshead. Classes including jewelry making, children's art, glass fusing and pottery making and provide learning opportunities unlike anything else available in Vail. New this winter, the Community Programming Room will offer Date Night for families who would like to drop their children off at the Community Room and enjoy time together shopping and dining in Vail. Children will learn to shape clay, create art projects, enjoy time in Vail's Imagination Station and more.
Vail Now Home to Semi Pro Hockey Team The Vail Yeti
Get in on the excitement as Vail's new hockey team The Vail Yeti take on other semi professional teams from around the Rocky Mountain Region at Dobson Ice Arena. The next home games take place against the Park City Pioneers December 13 and 14. More info available at www.vailyetihockey.com.

VRD's La Sportiva Trail Running Series was recently named by the American Trail Running Association as Race Standards Certified for exceeding measurements in safety, well-marked courses, timely results and awards, environmental responsibility, & excellent communication with racers prior to the event.
