EagleVail Derail Winter Bike Race

 Join the Vail Recreation District for the inaugural winter bike race on Saturday, March 4 in EagleVail! The race will test your winter bike handling skills on a never-before-seen circuit race course starting at the EagleVail Pavilion at 4 p.m.


February Kids Camps

Two upcoming kids camps will provide recreation and activity for K-5 children during the upcoming mid-winter school break in the third week of February. A two day gymnastics camp and a five day KidZone camp will be sure to keep kids busy and happy on their break!

Vail Grail Winter Race Series

Need motivation for those new years' resolutions? Get ready to skin, shift and shuffle your way to glory! Join the Vail Recreation District for the all new Vail Grail Winter Race Series and stay fit this snow season. The Vail Grail is a new championship series consisting of three winter events – an uphill at Vail Mountain, a fat tire bike race and a snowshoe shuffle - and participants can sign up for one, two or all three races. Racers who complete all three races have a shot at winning the coveted Vail Grail, a permanent trophy that will bear the male and female division winners' names for years to come.


Looking to elevate your mind, body and soul in the new year? Join the VRD for some exciting AcroYoga workshops this winter and spring. 

Acroyoga combines yoga and simple acrobatics, emphasizing movement, connection and trust. A partner activity, Acroyoga teaches techniques that allow gravity to help stretch muscles and decompress the spine. No yoga experience or partner is required, and beginners are welcome!
