2022 Year In Review - Nordic

Search

The Vail Nordic Center had a great 2021-22 season, highlighted by fantastic grooming and course conditions. We continuously recommended the upstairs Grill on the Gore restaurant to our Nordic customers - with the excellent quality of the soup bar and outstanding customer service, it's a great pairing with a jaunt out on the Nordic track! Skiers improved their skills on the track with Next Level skate, classic and AT clinics, and challenged themselves with Town Series Races in Vail and Minturn. Snowshoers and fat bikers continued to take advantage of 10K and 13K of dedicated trails, respectively. Our Nordic Director, Dan Timm, continued to be a great leader to his team while also helping out at many of the winter sports events, including his annual appearance as Santa Claus at the Ugly Sweater Fun Run (Santa also stopped by the Nordic Center).

Over 150 skiers participated in Town Series Races

Our awesome staff shared their love of Nordic skiing with 489 group lessons participants,
158 private lessons participants and 80 specialty clinic participants

Serious Business: We sold 727 season passes to Vail residents and 279 season passes to non-residents

It felt like Christmas in 2022: we got new rental mountain bikes and new demo skis!
