Youth Golf Camps and Programs


The Vail Golf Club is open with 18 holes in play. Early season conditions exist. We have five temporary greens.

Due to current COVID-19 Blue Square Phase protocols and health requirements, please understand the following:

  • Tee times must be made in advance online at or by calling the golf shop at 970-479-2260.
  • Cloth face coverings will be required when entering the golf shop.
  • Golf shop is open.
  • We will limit the numbers of people in the golf shop to four (4) at a time for social distancing.
  • Bunker rakes, water coolers, ball washing stands and trash cans have been removed from the course.
  • Modified cups will be in play so the flagstick will not be removed or touched.
  • All towels, coolers, sand bottles, tees, scorecards and pencils will be removed from carts. 
  • Locker rooms and restrooms in the clubhouse are closed.
  • The starter building restrooms will be open and food and drinks will be available. 
  • Social distancing protocols will be required while visiting and playing the Vail Golf Club.
  • Golfers who choose not to follow social distancing protocols will be asked to leave the property. 
  • The practice range is open. Reservations required for range use. call 970-479-2260x1.
  • Following play, all golfers must leave the property. No congregating in the finish area or parking lot.

First Tee Junior Golf Programs

The-FirstTeeVail Golf Club's First Tee program is managed by The First Tee Colorado Rocky Mountains. The mission of The First Tee is to educate and inspire youth academically, socially, and physically through the game of golf. Vail Junior Golf Academy

The Vail Junior Golf Academy will teach students ages 12 to 17 a variety of on-course skills including, putting, driving, swing, course etiquette and more. The academy is for intermediate to advanced youth golfers who have previous course experience. Lunch is included and participants also will receive video analysis throughout the camp. PGA instruction with a 6:1 student to coach ratio. 

Cost is $599 per student, per session.

Vail Golf Club Two-Day and Three-Day Junior Golf Camps

The Vail Golf Club will be offering two-day and three-day beginner camps, three-day intermediate camps and an advanced three-day camp. The beginner and intermediate two-day and three-day camps are for ages 6 to 17 and will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. The new three-day advanced camp is for ages 10 to 17 and will take place from 3 to 5 p.m.

*Upon graduation of the Advanced Camp, junior golfers will receive one FREE - 9 hole round to play on a space available basis after 4 p.m.

High School Golf Camp

Cancelled for now Due to COVID-19 | Monday and Tuesday, 1 to 3 p.m. (Free round of golf after the clinic on June 9!)

Ages: 13 to 18 years

High School Golf Camp is a two-day camp designed specifically for high school golfers. Participants will work with our PGA professionals and develop a plan for summer-long improvement heading into their school golf season.

Participants will learn to:

  • Practice efficiently
  • Measure their progress and track what helps them to score best
  • Manage swing tips and advice (good and bad)
  • Manage their golf rounds (stress, pressure & planning)
