The Vail Nordic Center is now open for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking. Come in to our pro shop where you can also get geared up and buy your season pass (or purchase online)! To buy a VRD resident pass, you must have proof of residency (i.e. utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement, etc.)

The Nordic Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the winter season. The Nordic Center track is maintained and groomed daily at 8 a.m. for skate and classic skiing. If six inches of snow falls by midday after grooming, the snowmobile with the sled will be pulled over the 5K loop for additional grooming.

The Grill on the Gore restaurant in the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse offers a signature soup and chili lunch, as well as snacks and hot drinks to warm up and recharge.

An evening race series as well as larger weekend events offer opportunities for competition, while daily lessons in classic and skate skiing and specialty clinics will offer the chance to learn and practice new skills.
