VRD is excited to host the first-ever Home Run Derby! Join us on Sunday, July 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Homestake Peak School baseball field in EagleVail. The Home Run Derby will showcase not only the sheer strength and technique of the players but also the camaraderie and friendly competition that defines the spirit of the game. Tournament Details

This single-elimination tournament will include both a Women's and a Men's league with 16 players maximum in each. Every batter will get three minutes to hit as many home runs as possible. Participants will provide their own pitcher. The pitching distance will be approximately 25 FT with a screen for protection. Men's HR fence (345 FT leftfield, 355 FT centerfield, 305 rightfield) and Women's HR fence (220 FT leftfield, 230 centerfield, 200 rightfield). Please note: distance is an estimate.

The winning male and female will receive a custom t-shirt from Trick Threads and a cash prize.
