Bob Johnson Adult Women's Hockey Clinic

Dates: Monday, July 18th and Tuesday, July 19th 2016, 7:00-8:00 p.m. both nights

Ages: 18 and older with one year previous hockey experience

Location: Dobson Ice Arena, Vail

Cost: $60 for Skaters (both nights, no single nights), No Fee for Goalies.  Minimum of twenty skaters needed for clinic to take place.

The Vail Recreation District will once again offer an adult women's clinic as part of the return of the 35th annual Bob Johnson Hockey School, featuring instruction by Mark Johnson. Johnson led the U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team to a silver medal during the 2010 Olympics and was also the leading scorer on the U.S. team that won the Olympic gold medal in 1980 at Lake Placid, NY. Johnson has taught at the VRD's ice hockey camp for the past 33 years and is the son of the hockey school's founder, Bob Johnson. Participants must be 18 years or older with one year of prior ice hockey experience.
