About Us
The VRD Resident Identification Card permits the holder use of facilities and program participation at discounted rates. Presentation of the card at the time of registration or admission/use is required in order to qualify for district rates. Residents who do not present a VRD ID Card will be charged the out-of-district rates.
Aside from Town of Vail residents, Beaver Creek has "bought in" to VRD programs, therefore allowing their residents to pay in-district rates for youth programs and youth sports camps only.
In order to qualify as a VRD resident you must present the following:
- Copy of the current year real or personal property tax assessment (Interest in real property acquired after issuance of Treasurer's print out must show proof of fair market consideration purchase. Gift of interest in real property does not qualify for a card. Sale of property in district during the season terminates the right to a card.)
Or each of the following:
- Valid Colorado driver's license (address must match the address on the lease)
- Lease agreement for 12 months (Term of the lease must commence 60 days or more prior to application for card and Colorado driver's license must accompany the application. Lease must run through end of season or termination date. Right to ID card terminates if lease terminates or applicant moves out of district. Lease must be for at least one full year. Lease must contain landlord's phone number for verification purposes.)
