The Vail Recreation District is constantly in need of volunteers, new employees and event sponsors. If you would like to see the district continue to offer high quality recreational activities, please see the Contact Us page and call or e-mail the branch in which you are interested.
If you feel that a VRD employee went out of his or her way to make your participation in an event that much more enjoyable, you can nominate that employee or any Vail employee for the Premier Employee Award. Just download and print the application and send it off. Your nomination could win that valuable employee a substantial bonus.

Join the VRD Gymnastics team and have fun with kids through gymnastics teaching and coaching. Applicants must be independent, energetic and patient. Previous experience is a plus, but we'll train the right personality!

Volunteer Opportunities
From running races to nature hikes to youth activities, the VRD relies on many volunteers to help keep the valuable programs we offer affordable to the community. If you've got some time on your hands, the VRD would love to hear from you. We'll even help you find a volunteer position that suits you best, whether it's a weekly position or a one-day event. The VRD is constantly striving to put on the best events possible while staying within a limited budget. Most of our events are substantially backed by sponsors who are willing to donate money or prizes to ensure we produce a high quality event. We are willing to work with our sponsors to ensure that they receive great marketing opportunities in local and national media campaigns.
