Cyclocross races consists of many laps, approximately 1.5 to 2 miles each, on a course featuring pavement, wooded trails, grass, steep hills and obstacles requiring the rider to quickly dismount, carry the bike while navigating the obstructions and remount.

Race Schedule: 

Registration: 4:15pm-6:15pm                                                                                                                                              

Cost: Adult Race ($15 Advance, $20 Day-of, $5 second race)           Kids Race ($5 Advance, $10 Day-of)

Kids Race  - 5:00 pm (15 minutes)  

Beginners Race - 5:20 (20 minutes)

Sport Race - 5:45 (30 minutes)

Pro/Open Race - 6:20 (40 minutes)

The Jake Wells Cyclocross Clinic is geared to give you all of the tools that you will need to enjoy a successful cyclocross race season! This tutorial clinic is targeted toward beginner and intermediate to advanced cross racers and is offered during the ideal training time for the race season. With the spectacular setting of Vail, Colorado as your classroom, you will learn about Equipment Technique and Tactics during this two day clinic.
