Costs: $29 preregistration or $39 race day

The race begins at 8 a.m. at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola in LionsHead and will test runners of all abilities on a single track and double track course with an average grade of 14 percent. The race will end at Eagle's Nest at the top of Vail Mountain. The Eagle Bahn Gondola in LionsHead will operate from 8 to 9 a.m. for race-day spectators. Racers should park in the LionsHead parking structure where parking is free for the summer.

Bib and packet pick-up: Saturday, Aug. 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Christy Sports in Vail Village or on race-day from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. at the base of the Gondola in LionsHead.

NOTE: Gondola will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for spectators to access the finish line.

Berry Picker Trail Run is Presented By:

At the race finish, Northside Coffee & Kitchen will have energy-packed items to feed our hungry runners & to jumpstart their recovery. Whether you just ran a PR or you merely survived the climb, Northside Coffee & Kitchen wants to refuel everyone with a nutritious, local, and tasty alternative that will leave you asking for seconds! 

The route for the 3.2 mile Berry Picker starts in LionsHead at an elevation of 8,238 feet and ascends to 10,346 feet to finish at the top of Eagle's Nest. The average grade is 12 percent on single track trails and double-wide gravel paths. There will be one aid station at mile 1.6.
